A card for my daughter

This is the first try at making this kind of card.  It took me several days to decide what I wanted on it and what colors to use.  I love this kind of stuff.

Cricut Machine is having a great sale! Lots of cartridges for $14.99.  Design Studio + sampler cart for only $24.99.  I think the sale is good through tomorrow Jan 1.  I bought Disney Tinkerbell, Simply Charmed, A Childs Year, Straight from the nest and Winter Lace.  Plus, I purchased the Design Studio bundle for my daughter, who just got the Expression for Christmas.  I think I did really well.  All of this for $114 and some change.

I'm lov'n my Gypsy and have used it quite a bit before Christmas.  Made gift tags and ornaments.  The ornaments were for my daughter and she came over and helped with the gluing and glittering.  Then she was bitten by that little bug and had to have a Cricut!

Just getting started.....

I don't know much about this blogging stuff, but here goes..... I will be uploading pics of the crafts and projects that I do eventually. I kind of got into this by accident so I figured  that I might as well try it.

Lately, I've been into card making and want to do a tri-folded get well card for my aunt who is fighting a recurrence of ovarian cancer.  Will see how that goes and post it.  I have physical therapy today, so will have to wait until this afternoon to work on that.

Just got my new Gypsy and think I am going to like it really well.  The only thing that I don't care for is that once you link the cartridges they are forever linked.  What if you loose the Gypsy or it gets broken beyond  repair...then you're really in a mess.  I'm hoping that eventually Provocraft will come up with a solution for that.
